What’s In My Camera Bag?
I’m not really a photographer with a lot of Gear. I try to do this with as little as possible.
Canon 7D This has been my main camera for a while now. The camera has it’s place in my bag and since the small Lumix GX1 has bad low light capabilities, the 7D goes with me almost daily.
Lenses: a 50mm prime 1.4 and a 24-105 IS f4.
Panasonic Lumix GX1 – A small micro 4/3 camera that looks nice and handles well when there’s enough light. Kit lens 14-42mm OIS
Sony NEX-5n – My second camera that I use with the kit lens 18-55mm
iPhone 6 - Very happy with it and it’s so much better than my iPhone5. The battery life has more than doubled over my iPhone5, that’s a huge thing for me. – Check out my Instagram and EyeEm profiles @olderhvit
Always looking for that Perfect bag, haven’t found it yet, so I’ll keep buying camera bags.
Think Tank Urban Disguise 35 V2.0 - Mostly use this bag whenever I need to take my MacBook Pro 13′ with me.
Think Tank Retrospective 10 - My bag for any daily adventure when I need more than one camera with a lens.
Belstaff Messenger Bag – Black leather messenger bag that I use every day when I don’t need so much more than a camera, lens and a few small things. I bought a camera inlet for the bag to keep the camera secure. – This is my Street bag.
Westcott Apollo Orb 43” Octagon - My newest addition.
Lastolite Ezybox Softbox 45x45cm – I love this for all those close and personal portraits, especially for low key portraits.
Umbrellas – I have a few white umbrellas that I use
Rogue Flashbender Large Reflector - This is the Light modifier I carry with me daily on the Street, together with a Canon 430 II flash.
Reflectors - I have 2 Reflectors in my Retrospective bag at all times.
More to come about my gear…
Right now I’m looking at replacing the Panasonic DMC-GX1 for something better and with a quiet shutter, for those moments that its called for.
